Give Kids the Word and IAAPA celebrate 25 years of partnership

IAAPA brings together people around the world working and interested in attractions. Expos are held every year to present what’s new in the business. Give Kids the World provides vacations to critically ill children and their families as well as a “Village” to live in for a week’s time while enjoying their vacation in Orlando, Florida. The village also includes a water park, carnival rides, a theater for movies and plays, and much more for families to spend time together with no worries.

Both organizations partnered in 1994 to find new ways of bringing joy to children. Together they formed IAAPA World Passport for Kids, a program allowing Give Kids the World families to attend IAAPA expo. Millions have been donated to Give Kids the World with help from IAAPA. And with the charity events offered at each expo, you can help these families create magical memories.

Register today for the golf tournament, 5K, and motorcycle ride at this year’s expo. This year’s golf tournament will be an 18 hole course at Shingle Creek Golf Club on November 17. It sells out quickly, so register as soon as you can. Footprints from the Heart, which includes a 5K run and one mile walk, will be November 21 at Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, FL. You can register as an individual or part of a group early or on the morning of the event. The motorcycle ride, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, will be at Orlando Harley Davidson/Eagle Rider on November 17. This popular event also sells out and has limited availability, so you’ll want to sign up for this soon as well. All money from registrations goes toward Give Kids the World.
